United Sluts is a pun but it is mostly a pledge, a wishful thought blown while the desert’s sand is still settling down. Palm Springs Weekend was a great personal experience.

An eventful week end

united slutsThe legendary Palm Springs week end indeed was eventful. We had fun, sex, scandal, and even an almost-tragedy.

If you have been following the blog, you know about the fun and the sex. It was great mingling with such a wonderful group of men of all kinds. The fun and the sex I shared are just the tip of the ice, multiply that by 40 and there you have an estimation closer to reality.

We almost had a tragedy. Eric Hassan and DavidnSF had an accident when riding a motorcycle. Fortunately they are fine and recovering.

And then we had some scandal. This blogger committed an unforgivable mistake and unintentionally violated others’ privacy. My mistake has been fixed and my unconditional apologies have been offered, which is all I can do. I just hope the harm I caused will heal soon.

A lesson painfully learned

The harm I caused has deepened my understanding of the responsibility involved in reviewing and blogging. Every word I write, every image I publish, may have real consequences in the real lives of real people.

What started as a hobby has evolved into something more important, more consequential. Something that is not just an expression of myself as originally intended, but also a tool that affects others.

Having fun by writing and pushing me to explore my own boundaries are still major goals of my blogging, but the community service side has gained prominence. There is no radical change. There is nothing new.

I mean, there are not new intentions, the circumstances are new. Now, we all are under attack.

Not so United Sluts

A sad realization of this week end and its afterwards is how divided we are. We are a small niche, marginalized and even hunted by mainstream culture. However, we cannot come together as one community.

I celebrate that we have two online hubs, M4M Forums and boytoy.com. I would love to have even more, and add to our diversity. What is not acceptable is the beef, the rancor, the scorn, the inability to appreciate each other differences and live together.

I hope that future social events like the Palm Springs Week End could be organized as a partnership. I hope we were able to combine all the diverse and amazing talents we have in both groups to come up together with an action plan to promote and advocate for our whole community.

We all are sluts. We just need a fraction of the energy we invest in our next orgasm invested in the will to overcome our differences and come up together with something constructive, progressive, forward looking. Raising from sluts to united sluts should not be so difficult.

A celebration of diversity

We knew before Palm Springs that the stereotypes about escorts and clients are completely detached of reality. It was wonderful diving into our diversity and experiencing it face to face, not just in a computer screen.

The group attending the week end showed a wide array of ages (from babies in their 20s to patriarchs in their 80s), sizes, ideologies, personalities, and occupations. The amount of human knowledge, from hard sciences to humanities and arts, was just outstanding. Imagine the things our minds and wills would achieve should we became united sluts. However, we have room to grow.

I may offend someone with this comment, but I wish we were more racially diverse. I remember when I was starting to participate in the M4M forums (it feels like ages ago but it is actually just a few years), and complained about the lack of ethnic diversity. Some forum members were outraged, they though I was calling them racist. The wiser ones, instead, challenged me: instead of complaining about lack of diversity, bring some.

I have been doing my best since then with more or less success. I had actually invited Ron to attend the week end with me, but he just retired from the craft. It is not a complaint, White is also beautiful. But I did miss the Dark.

I may offend again someone here, perhaps I did not notice more ethnicities were represented. In the non-White team I only counted a beautiful and sexy Filipino, Lucky’s husband, an Iranian God, and myself. Only two of those four are active members of the community. We have to do better.

Sharpening our voice

united slutsMy blogging life is short. It is going to be one year by the end of June. I Like Pinga is like a baby growing and learning about herself. By April of 2018, this is what she wants to be, or even better, what she wants to do:

  • To celebrate and promote diversity, specifically sexual diversity. We do not judge anyone for not having our same preferences. As long as no one is harmed, as long as everything is happening between consenting adults, we join you to celebrate us. We also promote sex as a legitimate human expression. We should not be ashamed of talking about any kind of sex, of having any kind of sex, of liking any kind of sex. United Sluts.
  • To share knowledge about everything sex. We are here to share and to learn. United Sluts.
  • To find and cherish young men into older folks.
  • To celebrate, advocate for, and promote the adult entertainment industry. United Sluts.
  • To advocate for the rights of sex workers and clients. United Sluts.
  • To build community. United Sluts.
  • To fight against any kind of abuse, exploitation, and/or trafficking. This is not the traditional bull shit disclaimer. What I mean is that those ignorant motherfuckers legislating and designing public policy should read this blog to learn what a vibrant, talented, supportive, productive, socially responsible, patriotic community they are attacking. Ignorant Prudish Bipartisan Motherfuckers.

Next steps

We are all confused right now at the on going situation around SESTA/FOSTA. The only change I am planning is a migration to a server located out of the USA. The blog content and language will remain the same.

I do want to make extra clear that the blog is a place to exercise my freedom o speech without obtaining any profit. I am not going back to edit old posts, but the new ones will not have advertisement banners. The blog will be 100% non profit.

As an experiment to generate an income very necessary to expand the blog activities, we will continue developing our Just For Fans account. If you want to support this blog, that is where you should be signing up. It is only 4.99.

In January, in DC, during MAL Week End, the number two most important annual event related to our community is taking place. We are far away. Perhaps some other location starts a new annual tradition before.

Hasta la próxima pinga, amig@s!
