Finding porn that still works for us may be much more challenging than it looks like. It sounds even counterintuitive, but it is not.

Porn production and consumption have been in the raise for a long time. Practically every single decade since Super 8  has been nominated as “the Golden Age of Porn” by its contemporaneous. If they knew.

Finding porn in USA

The traditional big studios are completely out of my interest scope. There is a limit for the number of plots, settings, and even performers, and the big names of gay porn seem to have reached it a long time ago. I guess it works for them, but not for me.

I still find some interesting material in alternative gay porn studios, mostly based in Internet. Dawspoundusa, Black Boyz Addictionz, Breed It Raw, and Flava Works have become also repetitive and lost the “novelty” charm a long time ago. However, they do maintain an appealing much stronger than the more traditional outlets.

That charm to me is that the sexual interactions are more documented and less staged compared to the old and tired pioneers of gay porn. This virtue to my eyes is what still keeps me going there. 

More conventional studios like Helix and Cockyboys do show some creativity now and then, and also new talented performers. They seem to be turning into the new mainstream, replacing the old Falcon, Belami, Kristen Bjorn, and others alike, that seem to be devoted to cloning performers and videos.

Porn or not porn

Pornhub and other similar websites also give us access to tons of home made porn. Sex is many times literally documented there, up to the point that we could question whether or not we are talking about pornography here. 

In order to be pornography, a material needs to have some creative pretension, in my opinion, and the intention to arouse the viewer. Turning on a camera to document a fuck, produces indeed hot material and I do enjoy watching it, but I am not confident it is pornography.

Finding porn in Argentina

In this case we are not talking about originality and creativity, part of Pablo’s brand. Now I would like to highlight just a source of very hot and talented performers.

Eventually, I may get bored at porn, period. Or I should say at watching porn.
