They survived the pandemics freeze and bounced strong this year via traditional associations and merges, innovative partnerships (Rhyhem X NakedSword), and revitalized creativity and energy coming from a more fluid interaction with independent creators.
Although there is still a clear division between independent and studio performers and creators, in 2023 this boundary blurred more than ever before. Indeed, part of the explanation is the increase interaction between both creative processes.
However, in our opinion, another variable is becoming increasingly more significant to explain the shift. The youngest generation of porn artists are coming into age already proficient in networking and social media. Soon, we will not have any porn performers in studio casts that do not also have their own independent following.
BEST OF PORN 2023 BIRTHS
One of the best 2023 porn events was a birth: VoyR’s website. Let’s spell clearly that we are not celebrating VoyR’s birth. The studio has been a force in the market for more than one year now. The new joyful arrival was the studio’s own web portal.
Timely, we reported on the launching event, and we have already published a full report short after we were able to gain access through a membership.
Although the website is still glitchy, our complaints about the content have become totally outdated. Currently, VoyR’s website library includes 34 videos showing 46 models. You should join.

Indeed, one of the best of porn 2023 trends was the switch to versatility as the new standard in gay porn. After all, porn is only a reflection of reality. Not only is flip-flopping the new normal in gay porn, but also in gay life.
