The Gay section of Foro Pirata

However, that article written three years ago needs an update. There have been so many changes, starting with the name, that a full new review is necessary.

It has to do with another major difference between Foro Pirata and its North American cousins. Argentines use this resource also as a way to make contact and hook up. The Club Gay in the Foro Pirata is the only closed section devoted to our subject matter. For that reason, we will not link it. However, you can see a screenshot of the club’s heading above. However, the local habit of bluntness overcomes the local respect for political correctness. it is not that there are more homophobes, racists, xenophobes and misogynists in Buenos Aires. They are just loud and shameless. Actually, perhaps after-Trump-USA is more Buenos Aires-like on this aspect.
The last difference we notice is one we celebrate. Foro Pirata seems to have a significantly higher number of participants who do not identify as gay but as bisexuals or something else.
